Key members of its Board and Board Advisory of Omobolanle and Victor Laniyan Foundation (OVL Foundation) have been conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degrees and Humanitarian Ambassadorial Awards.
This honour recognizes the Board’s influential role in empowering communities and driving transformative impact through strategic charitable initiatives across Nigeria.
The honorees, comprising the Foundation’s Chairman, Dr. Victor Laniyan, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Omobolanle Victor-Laniyan, and select Board and Advisory Members, Dr. Olufemi Ayodele, Dr. Jude Igundunase, Amb. Oyinlola Babatunde, Amb. Dr. Victor Okhai, and Amb. Oluwakayode Alakunle, have been instrumental in shaping national and regional interventions in education, health, environmental sustainability, women empowerment, economic inclusion, and youth development.
From supporting grassroots development to enabling access to education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods, the Foundation’s leadership has championed interventions that uplift marginalized populations and strengthen community resilience.
Speaking at the conferment ceremony, Amb Oluwakayode Alakunle stated, “Humanitarian work is the work of the heart. This recognition inspires us to continue advocating for people, solutions, and systems that drive social progress and sustainable change.”
Amb Alakunle further highlighted the awardees’ dedication to public good, describing them as “national assets whose humanitarian service has contributed significantly to societal upliftment.”
Additionally, Chairman and Co-Founder OVL Foundation, Dr, Victor Laniyan reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to expanding community-focused programmes, noting that the recognition will fuel even greater service to humanity.
“This honour belongs to every community we serve, and we remain committed to doing even more,” Dr. Laniyan stated.
