The Sarkin (monarch) Pai in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Abubakar Sani, has graced the annual meeting of Muslim Forum for Orphans Empowerment (M.F.O.E), calling on the highly placed individuals to support the forum financially in order to carter for the less privileged ones in the society.
The royal father, who graced the occasion during the General meeting/launching of forum’s Almac which took place at the University of Abuja, mini campus on Sunday.
While speaking at the occasion, the monarch advised well-meaning Nigerians to carter for orphans as well as widows in the society, and charged the management of the forum to initiate more empowerment programmes.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the ceremony, Dr Murtala Mohammed Lawal, who is also the Imam of the University of Abuja, urged the people to always be of help to the needy, so as to boost their morale in the society.
Imam lawal then commended the National leaders of the forum for impacting positively on the lives of orphans and widows, and urged them to continue with their good work.
The two guest speakers who spoke at the occasion, the lecturer with the FCT College of Education Zuba, Mallam Ahmad Ibrahim Kakaki and a renewed Islamic scholar, Mallam Umaru Faruk, they tasked Nigerians, especially the rich people to deem it necessary to take the orphans and widows along in terms of their needs.
On his speech, the National Ameer (President) of the forum, Malam Bashir Nuhu Gamagira, appealed to the general public, government at all levels and humanitarian organisations to put smiles on the faces of orphans/widows financially in our community.
