Journalists have been charged to continue to be in the vanguard of exposing corrupt office holders.
The Federal Commissioner Public Complaints Commission for Benue State James Oche gave the charge when management of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Makurdi Network Centre paid a courtesy visit on him Wednesday in his office in Makurdi.
Oche said the Commission will rely on the media to expose uncooperative parties during investigations, placing them under public scrutiny and opinion.
He expressed eagerness of PCC to partner with the media in order to succeed in its mandate, noting that the mass media, particularly NTA, lays the groundwork for informing and educating the public about the benefits they can derive from the Commission.
Acting Zonal Director, NA Makurdi, Mr. Pascmom Mgbebe expressed willingmess of the station to partner with the Public Complaints Commission in Benue State in order to achieve the positive gains of inter-agency collaboration.
