The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has consoled Governor Ahmad Fintiri of Adamawa State over the death of his aunt, Ruth Watudu.
The PDP consoled the Governor in a statement yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan
According to the statement, “The PDP, as a family, stands in prayers and solidarity with Governor Fintiri and his entire family, at this moment of grief, knowing how close he was to his late aunt.
“Our party sorrows with Governor Fintiri, especially knowing the roles played by his aunt in instilling values in the Fintiri and Watudu families.
“The PDP condoles with Governor Fintiri, the Watudu family as well as the people of Adamawa state while praying to God to grant eternal rest to the faithful departed and to the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, it said.
