The People’s Democratic Party’s Governors’ Forum, PDP-GF, has lauded
the Bayelsa State governor, Senator Duoye Diri’s philosophy of accountability and prudence, as adopted by all Governors elected on the platform of the party in the running of his. state
The PDP Governors expressed the confidence the legacies of Senator Diri will lead to a greater Bayelsa in no distant future.
The PDP-GF also that the dividends of Governor Diri’s stewardship will live memorably in the minds and hearts of citizens of the state.
The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the Governor of Sokoto State, said this is a statement at the weekend by its Director-General, Him. CID Maduabum in Abuja.
The Forum of PDP elected Governors pointed out that the administration of Senator Diri has done creditably well since assuming office 15 months ago and that the level of positive performance has “strengthened our conviction of divine involvement in your electoral victory”.
While hailing the Bayelsa Governor at 62, the PDP-GF said, “Your administration has done creditably well since assuming office 15 months ago and the level of positive performance has strengthened our conviction of divine involvement in your electoral victory.
“Your focus in the areas of education, health, aviation development, youth and women empowerment, agriculture, infrastructure, security for lives and property are worthy of mention, moreso, as a clinical peep into your administration’s stewardship distinctly enumerates a number of projects being executed, especially on the construction of road networks across the three Senatorial districts; the well-developed blueprint being implemented on agriculture, small and medium scale enterprises as part of efforts to empower Bayelsans to take charge of the local economy; empowerment of Bayelsan farmers amongst other people-friendly projects.
“Your continuity plan in governance for Bayelsan citizens is a mark of a dedicated statesmanship. No wonder you are called the “Miracle Governor” by all Bayelsans.
“We are also happy to note that you have instituted the philosophy of accountability and prudence, as adopted by all PDP Governors, in the running of your state
“The Forum appreciates your active role in the reawakening of Nigerians on the way forward with Nigeria and our party.
“We are confident that your legacies in office as Governor will lead to a greater Bayelsa in no distant future and that the dividends of your stewardship will live memorably in the minds and hearts of citizens of the state.
“As you celebrate this anniversary, we pray for the continued favour of the Almighty God and for more grace, wisdom, and good health to lead your people.
“We join your family and friends to celebrate you on this personal and remarkable milestone and blessing from God”, the Forum said.
