Plateau indigenes commend Gov Jang for restoring peace

Plateau state indigenes resident in Kaduna, have commended the Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang for his efforts in restoring peace and harmony in the state and bringing diverse ethnic groups in the state together.

The President of the group, Mr. Bulus Gofup, who spoke to our

correspondent in Kaduna, also commended the state governor for creating a conducive atmosphere with the provision of standard and modern infrastructure across the various cities and towns in the state.

He said for the governor’s strive in improvement of the life of the people of Plateau state, the group thought it wise and appropriate to honor him at a grand reception to be held in Kaduna.

“The governor is being honored for his immense effort at ensuring security in the state as well as infrastructural development , as a sign of appreciation for his service to Plateau state. The award to the Speaker is for his being the Most Supportive Legislator.”

Also to be honored, is the Speaker of the state House of Assembly (PLHA) Hon Titus Alams, for their contributions to the development and progress of the state, the former Deputy Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, Mrs. Rahila Mohammed as the ‘Most Supportive Plateau Indigene on Education’.
