Following the expiration of the two weeks ultimatum given to members of the dreaded Sara-Suka gang in Kawo, Kaduna North Local Government Area, by the State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Austin Iwar, for the gang members to turn a new leaf, the police has stormed their various hideouts in Kawo District and arrested nine members of the gang.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command ASP Aliyu Mukhtar disclosed this while speaking to Peoples Daily in Kaduna yesterday.
According to him, items recovered from the gang includes; machetes, knives and sticks.
ASP Aliyu Mukhtar said the command has intensified efforts to ensure that other fleeing members of the gang are arrested.
He added that investigation has commenced into the matter and very soon they will be charged to court.
