In a renewed effort to combat insurgents, banditry, and other criminal elements across Kaduna State, the Kaduna State Police Command, in collaboration with the Military, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS), vigilante groups, and local hunters, have initiated a comprehensive clearance operation in the Makarfi, Hunkuyi, and Ikara Local Government Areas.
This operation is strategically designed to eliminate criminal hideouts, dismantle illegal camps, and restore peace and stability throughout the affected areas.
It is being conducted in strict adherence to the directives from the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, who has instructed all police commands to intensify efforts to eradicate crime in their jurisdictions.
Commissioner of Police Rabiu Muhammad, assured the public that these operations will be ongoing and vigorous, with all security agencies working closely together to ensure a crime-free environment.
“The Command remains firmly committed to maintaining the peaceful atmosphere currently enjoyed across the state,” he stated.
