Three men are presently cooling their feet in detention at the Kano state police command headquarters in Bompai for allegedly posing as police officers and labeled two individuals as terrorists and defrauded them.

Addressing newsmen yesterday at the command kano state commissioner of police Mr. Adenrele Shinaba who gave the names of the trio that impersonate policemen attached to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), as Abubakar Umar, Aliyu Adamu and Mohammed Inuwa.

Shinaba added posed as policemen and arrested one person along Ibrahim Taiwo road Kano and labeled him terrorist threatened to take him to their office or he settle them, adding they apllied the same trick on another victim and collected the sum of N1.3 Million and N500,000 respectively from the two separate successful operation.

He revealed that the arrested suspects who have made confessional statement, mentioned three others members of their syndicate who are now at large, noting that investigation is on top gear.
