Operatives of Operation Puff Adder II attached to Kaduna Police  Command has rescued 8 kidnapped victims.

The was contained in a statement Issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammad Jalige in kaduna yesterday.

The statement stated that the men of Operation Puff Adder II  while on routine patrol along Galidamawa/Kidandan  area of Giwa Local Government Area  intercepted a group of armed bandits alongside some victims.

The statement added that the bandits on sighting the operatives took to their heels abandoning their  victims and one (1)AK49 rifle in the process the victims were   rescued  unhurt

Among the victims rescued are; Bala Ibrahim , Ede Gloria from Ebonyi State ,Japheth Sani,  Kebbi State,  Kinsley Edgbue Delta State, Anthony Okafor,Anambra State  Gabriel Agu Anambra State  Chibuzo Nwokorie Anambra state and  Ifenyi Samuel from Enugu state.

“The Victims later informed the Police that they were abducted along Zaria –Kaduna expressway aboard luxurious bus on 29th February 2021 enroute to Delta state.

“However, the victims are currently receiving medical attention in preparation for reunion with their respective families.

“Meanwhile hot pursued of the fleeing Bandits is ongoing”.
