One policeman and a trader were killed while several others were injured during a clash between two youth groups in Minna.
The clash which took place on Thursday and Friday also led to the destruction and looting of property along the streets.
The clash which is a regular occurrence in Minna metropolis is usually between youths of difference areas who usually storm the city centre as their battlefield for operations.
Security men were able to restore normalcy between youths in Limawa, Angwan Daji and Ogbomoso respectively.
It was reliably gathered that on Friday morning, the said youths regrouped and dispersed business owners who hurriedly locked their shops and scampered for safety at the city center of Minna.
The Niger state Police Command Public Relation Officer (PPRO) DSP Wasiu A Abiodun could not be reached for confirmation at the time of filing this report.
