The Gombe state Police command has launched enforcement of third-party insurance certificate and warned officers against unprofessional conduct.
This was issued in a press release by the Police Public Relations Officer DSP Buhari Abdullahi at the weekend in Gombe.
He said the directives is based on the directives given by the Inspector-General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetakun.
The enforcement comprises of the officers from Motor Traffic Department (MTD), officers from the Operation Department and Various Police Divisional Headquarters, Officials from Insurance Company, Media team and other stakeholders.
The statement also said that the enforcement exercise was aimed at Upholding the rule of law and ensure the safety of road users.
