Polls: Hold Jonathan, Buhari for bloodshed- ADC presidential candidate

Date:

By Stanley Onyekwere

The Presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming February 14 election, Dr. Ibrahim Mani, yesterday warned that the presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan, and All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) must be held responsible for any post election violence in the country.

According to him, the candidates of the country’s two big parties are heating up the politics through their unguided utterances of hate and personal attacks on each other’s camps.

This warning is coming just a month to the February 14th elections, even as both heavyweights intensify their campaigns across the country.

Ahmad who gave the warning during the inauguration of the party’s campaign organisation, in Abuja, however decried that most politicians parading themselves as leaders are responsible for wasting the abundant resources of the country while enriching themselves and their cronies abroad.

“I want to state categorically and without mincing words, if there is any post election violence after February 14 and subsequent elections in Nigeria, President Jonathan, as well as General Buhari and their men must be held responsible, because they have not shown any responsibility with the way and manner they are carrying on with their campaigns.
