The Adamawa state candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the 2023 general elections, Dr. Umar Ardo has formally kickstarted his governorship ambition campaign in the state.
Ardo at the brief ceremony of unveiling his formal campaign billboard fixed at a strategic position at the popular Mai Doki round about of the capital city of Yola, Thursday, urged the electorate to vote wisely for people without questionable character like him.
Ardo stated that if given the mandate by the Adamawa people come 2023, his government will focus on organising and channeling the huge reservoir of talents, skills and assets that bound in the state to harness the massive solid and agricultural reserves of the state.
He pledged to be sincere, honest while discharging his duties.
He maintained that his government will conquer hunger, disease, illiteracy, unemployment and infrastructural deficits.
