Ahead the February general elections, the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), has declared its support to the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari.

Addressing reporters after a closed door meeting with General Buhari, National Chairman of PDM, Alh. Bashir Yusuf, said the party after its National Executive Committee meeting considered and accepted to support the candidate of Muhammadu Buhari in order to save Nigeria for imminent collapse and give it a new lease of life.

He said his party has observed that of the available Presidential candidates, two clearly stand out and the two represent clear contrast and reference point for making informed choices on the five critical issues which NEC believes constitute the nation’s clear and urgent priorities at this material time, to include national unity, public security, job creation, fight against corruption and the economy.
