The Management of National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform Members of the public, especially Prospective Corps Members, Parents and their Guardians that deployment, posting, relocation and other services including kit items and NYSC booklets on security, entrepreneurship among others are issued to Corps Members on arrival at the Orientation Camps at no cost.
Furthermore, we also advise our esteemed stakeholders to beware of some unscrupulous persons that are using online platforms to defraud the unsuspecting Members of the public by advertising NYSC kits that the Scheme gives Corps to Members in Camp.
Management hereby restates it’s commitment to ensuring that no Corps Member is defrauded by these online advertisers.
Similarly, efforts are on-going with the security agencies to apprehend and prosecute the faceless individuals behind these ignominious acts.
Meanwhile, as the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream One Orientation Course starts today, Prospective Corps Members are instructed not to embark on night journey while going to their respective Orientation Camps.
The Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed wishes all the Prospective Corps Members and Camp Officials safe trip to camp, and a successful 2024 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course.
