Poverty, ignorance responsible for Southern Kaduna crisis – Gumi

Prominent Northern Nigeria Islamic Scholar, Dr. Mahmoud Gumi, has identified poverty and ignorance as the bane of the various crises bedeviling Kaduna State.
The Islamic scholar stated this while speaking at the monthly Forum with Media on Peace Journalism held in Kaduna yesterday.
Dr Gumi identified the crises as religious, political, banditary and kidnappings, all which are threats to lives and property.
He explained that it is necessary for all ‘common people to get deserved government attention via education, and infrastructural development.
