The All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue Chapter, has said that the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the court is a reaffirmation of the mandate freely given him by Nigerians who believe in his message of Renewed Hope.
The party stated this in a message while congratulating the President, his vice and the National Secretariat of APC on their victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
A statement signed by its Publicity Secretary Daniel Ihomun yesterday, posited that the ruling of the court is a confirmation of the will of God, the choice of the Nigerian people and the Supremacy of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
“The party expresses deep satisfaction and regard to the panel of judges that delivered the sound Judgment, making decisive pronouncements that would enrich our democracy and the electoral process.
“The party congratulates Mr. President, lovers of democracy and teeming members of the party for this resounding and well-deserved victory at the court.
This judgement has reinforced the unwavering faith Nigerians have in our country’s Judicial System.
“We call on the opposition to join hands with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his patriotic vision and task of building a strong, united and prosperous Nigeria”, the party appealed.
