As the call for a nationwide protest gets thicker, a Kaduna-based business mogul, Dr. Tobi Bernard Thomas, has expressed his displeasure over the looting and destruction of private and public properties in the state.
He said, the intention of the protest had been defeated as hoodlums hijacked the protest, and taken it as an avenue to loot and destroy both government and private property.
While condemning the act in Kaduna at the weekend, during a press conference, Dr. Thomas emphasized the need for dialogue, adding that protest may not be the solution to end the lingering insecurity and hardship that is currently biting hard on the citizens.
This is just as the business mogul called on the security agencies across the country to be more professional in the way and manner the protesters are handled.
Dr. Thomas who frowned at the use of under-aged children as protesters in the state, cautioned parents and those behind the idea of using the innocent poor children to think of prosperity, as well, as the future of the country.
