Reps Minority Whip, Barde gives succor to victims of Kajuru killings

Member representing Chikun/ Kajuru federal constituency from Kaduna State, Hon. Yakubu Umar Barde has donated relief materials to victims of recent attacks and killings in Karmai of Maro ward in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State.
Hon. Barde who is the present Minority Whip and got re-elected on the 23rd February Presidential and National Assembly elections condemned the unwarranted reoccurring killings in the area and called on government and well-meaning individuals to come to the aid of people who are now rendered homeless.
Some of the items donated includes: 30 bags of 50kg perboiled rice, 300 new wrappers, 10 (25) litres of vegetable oil, 10 (25) litres of red oil, 10 bags of maize 50 cartons of indomie Noddle’s and 27 cartons of Royco maggi.
Other items are 233 pieces each of, buckets, plastic cups and Trays, 10 cartons of detergent, 20 cartons of batting soap, 15 cartons of Vaseline, 10 bags of 10 sachet each of Sugar, 10 bags of 40 sachet each of salt and 10 bags of 48 pairs of sleepers each along several other items.
Represented by Matthew Augustine who told the victims that Hon. Barde would have been around in person but lost a very close friend Sunday morning, condoled the victims and prayed God never to see such attack again while urging them not to contemplate any form of reprisal but to trust God for vengeance on their behalf.
Receiving the items on behalf of the victims, the District Head of Kufena, His Highness Titus Dauda under whose domain the attacked village falls, commended the Honourable member for his magnanimity in remembering his subject in their moment of pains.
He expressed the appreciation of his chiefdom on behalf of the victims and prayed God to bless the honourable for his kind gesture.
Some of the victims who lost dear ones or their houses burnt down also applauded their representative for the relief materials extended to them which they said will go a long way to cushion the effect of the attack on them.
