Bizarre activities by ritualists across Delta State in the last few months have heightened tension in the state as a middle aged woman in Ozoro community was allegedly beheaded on Monday, in the area.
Reports said the woman identified as Queen Clever was allegedly beheaded in Ozoro community, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State by ritualists who allegedly wooed her with mouth watering money into their operational hideouts, which serves as a hotel for lodging.
It was gathered that the victim hailed from Urude Community in Ozoro and she had been a popular roasted plantain seller including yam at the ever busy Owhologbo Junction along Ozoro- Asaba expressway before the incident happened.
A family source said that the headless corpse of Queen Clever was found in a bush along Eterighe Avenue, close to a popular hotel in the high brow fast growing and developing avenue, adding that besides her head, other vital body organs such as breasts and core private parts were removed by the suspected ritualists who are also believed to be Yahoo Yahoo plus.
But the Area Commander in Ozoro community, Assistant Commissioner of Police, ( AC) Camilus Ezewulu when contacted, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing as no arrest had been made.
