RTEAN, GPMI pass vote of confidence on Magu, Idris

An international organisation known as Global Peace Movement International (GPMI) and Road Transport Employers of Nigeria (RTEAN) have passed a vote of confidence on the Ag. Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC , Ibrahim Magu and the Inspector General of Police,IGP, Ibrahim Kpotun Idris and the police themselves..
The two organisations went to the Force Headquarters, EFCC and National Assembly (NASS) to make their opinions known to the public yesterday.
Speaking on behalf of GPMI, its President General, Dr Mike Uyi said that both the EFCC Ag chairman and the IGP have performed wonderfully well since their inception in office.
He said that since the IGP took up office, the reputation of Nigeria police has risen beyond imagination within and outside the country, adding that they should be encouraged.
Speaking on EFCC, he said that its Ag chairman had succeeded in fighting corruption and recovering looted funds for the country and should be encouraged and hailed for performance.
Uyi further said that his performance has made Nigeria proud in the committee of nations, adding that he should ignore the cabal that had been working against him and keep the pace, saying Nigerians are aware of his performance.
At the National Assembly, Dr Mike Uyi urged the legislators to wake up and live up to expectations.
Speaking on behalf of RTEAN, its Executive President, Alh Musa Shehu Isiwele said that the IGP had done so well since inception of office, adding that his performance had been noticed within and outside the country.
Isiwele also agreed that the Ag chairman of EFCC has done marvelously well since inception in office.
He commended him for having recovered looted money for the people of Nigeria.
