The Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture(NCAC) Otunba Runsewe has bade farewell to the outgoing High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Shameen Ahsa.
Runsewe made this disclosure in Abuja in a ceremony organized by the NCAC to mark the send-forth of the Bangladeshi High Commissioner who departed Nigeria to continue his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Italy.
He stated that, “the memory of the harmonious diplomatic relationship shared with the outgoing High commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Shameen Ahsan will remain evergreen”.
The DG said during the stay of the outgoing High Commissioner in Nigeria, there was a culturally cemented relationship that existed between Nigeria and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as evident in her attendance of the eleventh and twelfth editions of the International Arts and Crafts Expo (INAC) and other cultural events organized in Nigeria with robust display of her country’s cultural endowments.
