Screening:. Labour Party appeal committee set to sit as party cleared Otti, Bush Mbaba, Gaza others for Primaries

In a effort to give opportunity for those that may not be satisfied with the outcomes of just concluded screening exercise the labour party has fix Monday 25th may for Aspirant that were not cleared to appear before the appeal committee.

In a notice issued on Saturday and jointly signed by the Appeal committee Chairman,
Barr. Taiwo Mary Ajayi and the Secretary Haija Bintu Konto respectively urge the dissatisfied Aspirant to attend

The notice read,.The Screening Appeals Committee formally notifies all aspirants who are dissatisfied with the outcome of the Exercise that the Screening Appeals Committee shall commence hearing of
appeals in accordance with the Party Constitution, Electoral Guidelines and the Terms of Reference issued to the Committee.

Accordingly, all affected aspirants are required to submit their Notice of Appeal (Page 2), together

with all supporting documents to enable the
Committee commence sittings accordingly. Affected aspirants are also at liberty to submit a self-

drafted Notice of Appeal, provided it conforms with the prescribed.

Meanwhile, the party has cleared, Governor Alex Otti, Governorship Aspirant from Akwa Ibom State, Mr Bush Mbaba, Gazà Johnathan Governorship Aspirant for Nassarawa andr others that are ready for the party Primaries that will take on 30th May 2026
