Chairman Social Democratic Party, SDP John Ememari has lamented over the inability of succeesive administration to sustain the achievenents of former civilian Governor of the State, late Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu.

The late Adasu who won election under the SDP was the third civilian Governor of the State between 1992 and 1993.

During his short reign, he established the Benue State University, BSU amongst other tertiary institutions in the State.

The SDP chairman regretted that successive government including the present PDP administration has failed to uphold the legacies of late Adasu who served selflessnessly, frowning that they have destroyed them.

“Apart from BSU which should be renamed to immortalize him, he established College of Education, Katsina-Ala and took it to a permanent site, same for College of Education Oju amongst several other tertiary institutions in the State. Today, the indtitutions are on strike because government cannot pay their staff.
