The senator representing Niger-East in the Senate, Awaisu Kuta, in the early hours of yesterday died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after a brief illness.
Meanwhile, the Senate has continued to mourn his death, describing it as a huge loss to the Nigerian parliament, even as the lawmakers urge God to repose his soul.
