The Senator representing Jigawa North-West Senator Babangida Hussain donated food items and the sum of N5,080,000 to his constituents across 127 political wards.
This was contained in a statement signed by his media Aid Mukhtar Babura Babann fati.
The statement said, the gesture was in honour of the Ramadan to support the Muslim Ummahs in all the Wards of his Constituency.
According to the statement, the sum of N40,000 was distributed to each of the 127 political wards across the 12 local government areas of his senatorial zone.
statement maintained that, each political wards recieved the food items that include 18 bags of rice, 27 bags of corn flour and N40,000 per ward.
Meanwhile, in appreciation of the Lenting season that is being observed by Christians globally, the Senator also allocated 30 bags of rice to be shared among christians in his senatorial zone.
