Sokoto PDP Treasurer Resigns

The Sokoto State Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Alhaji Yahaya Dallatu, has announced his resignation from the party.
Dallatu said his resignation as a member of the State Working Committee of the party is with immediate effect.
“My resignation is based on personal grounds. I appreciate the opportunity to have served the party and am grateful for the trust reposed in me..
“Please accept the assurances of my highest regards,” he stated in the resignation letter addressed to the state party chairman.
Dallatu did not however indicate whether he is dumping the party completely or taking rest from party politics.
