The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, has congratulated former president, Muhammadu Buhari, as he clocks 82 today.
Speaker Abbas commended ex-President Buhari for his services to Nigeria and contributions to the development of the country in various capacities.
While noting that ex-President Buhari is an elder statesman, Speaker Abbas urged him to continue to provide wise counsel for the development of humanity.
The Speaker said Buhari deserves to be celebrated having made sacrifices for the country as both military head of state and a two-term elected president.
The Speaker prayed Almighty Allah to keep the former president safe and sound for more years.
Also Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has congratulated former President Muhammadu Buhari on his 82nd birthday.
Kalu acknowledged Buhari’s contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development, specifically highlighting his rice revolution initiative, which earned his administration accolades.
He also commended Buhari’s selfless service, integrity, and vision, noting that these qualities have inspired generations of Nigerians.
The Deputy Speaker wished the former President a long life in good health, celebrating him as a remarkable leader and statesman.
