Speaker Dogara felicitates with Sarkin Sudan, Shehu Malami at 80

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara has felicitated with the Sarkin Sudan of Wurno, Ambassador Alhaji Shehu Malami, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Turaki Hassan, the Speaker described the octogenarian as an accomplished Diplomat and a respected statesman who had distinguished himself in many fields of human endeavors.
He said: “ Sir, at 80 years, your life is a very rich book of accomplishments having played prominent roles in the political and constitutional development of Nigeria for decades. A quintessential diplomat, astute businessman, your footprints litter the boardroom of Nigeria’s private sector.
“You remain one of the few of your generation to have received series of accolades in your lifetime; the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) “who is who in Nigeria”, as well as “who is who in the world” your accomplishments do not suffer any territorial barriers.”
While wishing Ambassador Shehu Malami a hearty 80th Birthday anniversary, Dogara also prayed God to grant the elder statesman more years of good health and wisdom.
“ On behalf of the Honourable Members of the House of Representatives as well as my family, I wish to join millions of your admirers and well wishers around the world, to most heartily felicitate with you on this very glorious occasion of your 80th Birthday Celebrations.”
