Stakeholders call for vigilance, immunization in Yola

The Adamawa state government and stakeholders in the health sector as well as parents and guardians have been challenged to ensure more surveillance, vigilance and immunisation for the fight against polio virus.
State Cordinator of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr. Iyobosa Igbinovia gave the challenge in Yola, weekend while observing the 2020 World Polio day celebration rally.
He noted that this year’s occasion is unique following the certification of Nigeria and Africa as polio free zones recently.
