As part of efforts to promote and develop the growth of the downstream sector of the Nation’s Oil and Gas Industry coupled with the need to enhance local content in the Petroleum Sector, Stakeholders in the lubricants’ sector have decided to organize the 1st Nigerian Lubricants Summit, featuring a-two day forum and exhibition.

The summit is being packaged by CMC Connect Limited  in collaboration with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).  CMC Connect Limited  is working in synergy with Lubeservices Associates, a reputable and professional consulting firm with proven track records in the areas of lubricants, lubrication and related technical services.

Explaining further, Mr. Adetola Odusote arpa, of the Public Affairs directorate at CMC Connect (Perception Managers) “the summit will serve as an interactive session and exhibition of the nation’s lubricants’ market with specific aims of showcasing their market potential, quality, standard compliance, technical reliability and of course, address the challenges militating against its business growth”.

 Odusote emphasizes, “shall also create a platform for the major and indigenous lube manufacturers, technocrats, investors, service providers, diversed consumers, statutory and regulatory agencies (DPR, SON, NAFDAC, Weight & Measures, Customs & Excise, Navy, etc) and other stakeholders to meet in order to marshal a way forward for the survival and growth of the lubricants market in the country”.
