The Taraba State House of Assembly on Wednesday screened and confirmed 21 Commissioner-nominees of governor Agbu Kefas.
The deputy speaker of the house, Hon. Hamman Adama Ibn Abdullahi, made this announcement after the committee of the whole.
PeoplesDaily reports that, the governor has submitted the name of 21 Commissioner-nominees to the state house of Assembly for screening.
The house successfully screened 21 nominees and confirmed their positions as members of the state executive council.
The nominees are, Prof. Nicholas Oliver Namessan, Mr. George Peter, Mr. Gideon Samuel Nonso, Dr. Augustina Godwin, Engr. Naomi Tanko Agbu, Mrs. Aishat Adul-Azzez K. Barde, Dr. Sarah Enoch Adi, Hon. Joseph Titus Nagombe, Dr. Bodia Gbansheya Buma, Mrs. Zainabu Usman Jalingo, Yakubu Maikasuwa, SAN.
Others were Mr. Habu James Philip, Comrade Julius Peter M.Ed, Hon. Saviour Badzoilig Noku, Dr. Philister Ibrahim PhD Musa, Mrs. Mary Sinjen, Mr. Daniel Ishaya, Comrade Noseh Luka, Mr. Joseph Joshua, Mr. Usman Muslim Abdullahi and Mr. Yakubu S. Yakubu.
The house was adjourned to reconvene on the 24 July, 2023.
