The management of Ark Theological College of Nigeria in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday graduated a total number of sixty-five students comprised of Diplomas, First Degrees and Masters.
Also, five personalities were conferred with the Honorary Doctorate Degrees (Honoris Causa).
Disclosing this in an interview after the graduation ceremony in Kubwa, the provost of the college, Prof. Olowookere David Femi Testimony, urged the graduating students not to relax in pursuing Christian education.
He appealed to the proprietors of private schools in Nigeria to deem it fit to partner with the government of the day for the necessary approval of their institutions, and charged the Christians to seek for theological education.
He, therefore, used the occasion of the graduation to call on both Christians and Muslims to embrace each other, while preaching against religious bigotry.
In his welcome address, Prof. Testimony, advised the graduating students to use the knowledge and skills they had gained at the college to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others in the society.
‘’Theological education equips students with deep understanding of biblical principles, enabling them to effectively engage with and transform their communities. Our graduates are poised to become agents of positive change, influencing Nigeria’s social, cultural and spiritual landscape’’, he said.
