President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to Africa’s foremost industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 69th birthday, commending his immense contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth and industrialisation.

In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangote as a leading figure in Africa’s industrial landscape whose investments have significantly advanced Nigeria’s economic development.

Tinubu praised Dangote’s entrepreneurial vision, resilience and innovation, noting that his ventures have transformed critical sectors of the economy.

He highlighted landmark projects such as the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company and cement factories across Africa as key milestones in positioning Nigeria as a major industrial hub.

The President further noted that Dangote’s conglomerate has played a vital role in job creation, infrastructure development and boosting investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.

“I salute Aliko for his conglomerate’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and unwavering belief in the Nigerian economy and its potential.

Dangote remains a shining example of African enterprise, whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across the continent,” Tinubu stated.

He also commended Dangote’s philanthropic efforts through the Dangote Foundation, particularly in the areas of health, education and poverty alleviation, noting that its interventions have positively impacted millions of lives across Nigeria and beyond.
