The District Head of Gui community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Alhassan Yusuf, has called on the Executive Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu to complete the ongoing rehabilitation of Gui road for the sake of the people plying the road.
Alhassan, who made the call in an interview with peoples Daily Correspondent in his Palace in Gui, also pleaded with the Chairman to provide basic necessities of life for the residents of the community.
He then commended the AMAC Chairman for carrying out developmental projects in some communities saying that he will continue to support the leadership of the Area Council.
He further hailed the Chairman for the necessary steps he has been taking to pay the workers’ salaries during the festivities.
He, therefore, appealed to the residents of Gui Community to continue to co-operate with him for the overall development of the community, and urged them to shun any act capable of generating tension in Gui Community.
The royal father used the interview as a forum to call on both Muslims and Christians to live in peace, urging them to embrace each other.
