The Director General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), Nura Kangiwa said without quality training hospitality business will not be sustainable.
Kangiwa made the disclosure at the Certificate Award Ceremony of staff of Bristol Palace Hotel Kano.
The Director general who was represented by the Head of Media and Public Relations Unit of the Institute, Ahmed Sule, reiterated that continuous professional training and upgrade is one of the most important elements of running a hospitality outfit for quality service delivery and business sustainability for achieving maximum profits.
The Director General noted that NIHOTOUR has delivered to staff of Bristol Palace Hotel well packaged training modules of international standards by its highly competent Instructors and Trainers, and has no doubt that the trainees benefitted a lot from the exercise.
Also speaking,General Manager Bristol Palace Hotel, Paul Murry, thanked NIHOTOUR for training 45 staff members of the hotel with international standard training for quality service delivery.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the hotel, Senator Mohammed Ida, was conferred with Fellowship award of the Institute,for his enormous contributions to hospitality.
