The Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Area, Hon. Rayyan Hussain, has formally endorsed the co-creation of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Strategic Vision, Action Plan, and agreed milestones, marking a significant step toward strengthening open governance and improving service delivery in the local government area.
The endorsement, made on February 25, 2026, recognized the critical role of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in identifying priority governance and service delivery challenges, proposing inclusive and measurable milestones, supporting implementation and monitoring, and promoting citizen engagement throughout the OGP cycle.
According to the endorsement statement, the co-creation process was undertaken through structured consultations, dialogue, and collaborative engagements among relevant government departments, agencies, and civil society stakeholders to strengthen open governance, improve health service delivery, and enhance public trust at the local government level.
