Troops kill several bandits in Niger, Kogi

The Nigerian military said its troops of Sector 2 Operation Whirl Punch killed several bandits in Niger and Kogi states.
Speaking yesterday in Abuja while giving update on the military operations in the country, Major General, John Enenche, Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, said the troops killed the by the troops while on patrol at Bassa village in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.
Enenche said the operations took place from 30th October to 4th November, 2020.
He said the troops repelled the armed bandits attack and killed several of them
“In the course of the encounter, several bandits were neutralized. Also, within the period in focus, troops of Headquarters Command Army Records Lokoja in conjunction with Defence Intelligence Agency operatives arrested 4 suspected criminals with 3 locally made guns at Auko village along Lokoja- Abuja Highway in Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
