Some residents of Tudun Fulani Community, Deidei, in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have lambasted the Chairman of AMAC, Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu over the provision of basic necessities of life for the people in the community.
They also accused the Chiarman of non-challant attitude towards the development and progress of the community since he assumed office.
The residents, who spoke to Peoples Daily Correspondent separately in the Community on Saturday, said despite the persistent appeals to the Chairman to construct a basic Healthcare centre in the area, he had failed to do so up till now.
A resident in the community, Mallam Abdullahi Abdullahi Bello, who is the Mai Anguwan of Tudun Fulani, pointed out that the administration of Maikalangu was yet to impact positively on the lives of the people in the area.
He narrated that the residents of the community were facing the problems of potable drinking water, access roads and electricity, calling on the Chairman to do something about it before the expiration of his tenure.
Mai Anguwan Bello complained that the Tudun Fulani Primary School which was constructed by the former Chairman of AMAC, Hon. Esther Audu was in the state of dilapidation, urging Maikalangu to expedite action on it.
Another resident, oba Mufutau Olalekan Lasisi, who is also the Chief of Yoruba in Tudun Fullani Community, Deidei expressed dismay that the community has no single transformer to boost electricity supply in the area.
