Turaki submits PDP chairmanship nomination form

A former Minister of Special Duties and a frontline contender for the National Chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, has officially submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the position.
The party has scheduled its Elective National Convention for November 15–16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Turaki, who has reportedly been adopted as the consensus candidate for the chairmanship position by majority of the party’s stakeholders, submitted his form yesterday at the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) Secretariat, Legacy House, Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama, Abuja.
He was accompanied by several friends and political associates during the submission.
