The Federal Government of Nigeria, has been warned to shelve her decision to join the inter-governmental economic policy body, known as BRICKS block.
A popular law professor and Director-General of the Institute of Law Research & Development of United Nations, Washington DC,Prof. Cyprian F. Edward-Ekpo, said BRICS is highly promoted by Russia and sponsored by Iran on the background.
BRICS is an intergovernmental organization that was founded in June 2009; it comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.
But according to Edward-Ekpo, BRICS is highly promoted by Russia and sponsored by Iran on the background. They conceived it”.
He expressed that the new entrant step to BRICS as a partner by Nigeria, is concerning.
Speaking to media, he submitted his displeasure against the Federal Government’s decision to join BRICS, which he described as “a group promoted by dictators and terrorism sponsored states that take delight in perpetrating human rights abuses and invasion of weak nations”.
” The body – BRICS was borne out of hatred and rivalry against the United States of America and its world leadership.
“BRICS is birthed by Iran and Russia to become unquestionable to international sanctions so as to keep sustaining their numerous nefarious human rights violations and other dictatorial and abusive tendencies”.
“BRICS is borne out of hate for America. Iran and Russia came up with the idea of BRICS to rival America’s global leadership. They founded BRICS as a way to escape financial and economic sanctions, to act unchecked, on their various human rights violations and invasion of weak states.”
He, therefore, called on the National Assembly of Nigeria to act fast to halt the union between BRICS and the Federal Government of Nigeria , as he hinted that the president has been ill-advised.
” When you take a look at the developing countries who admire and aspire to BRICS, you will see they are countries where either have unexplained grievances with Isreal or the United States or their political leaders are folks who suffer intellectual poverty, debt burden due to bad governance, weak-minded economic policies, and weak institutions, consumption economy instead of production economy, but blame their impact on international currency instead of their leadership.
” India that was cajoled into joining the group has become weary after it vividly understands the motives behind the creation of the body. It has become less-active when it realizes that the motive was originally conceived as a manipulative technique of Russia and Iran to bring down American global intervention powers against human rights abuses, and to add strength to Iran for destruction of Israel and upgrading of Putin-ideology Russia as a global leader. Developing countries and other BRICS blocks have been deceived by the original conspirators. BRICS is a great and dangerous global conspiracy.”
He further called on Saudi Arabia and India to detach themselves from BRICS.
” The implication of this is that, countries that join BRICS may end up as one of the enemy states of the United States and Isreal while America is the only nation that both developing countries and developed and their citizens can really rely on due to its human rights and humanitarian values, and democratic tenets”.
“The pioneers and promoters of BRICS even in the midst of the United Nations, focus on nothing much than the decimation of America and destruction of Israel. It is neither for development nor the betterment of lives of their citizenry. ”
According to the law expert , ” any country that joins BRICS will be considered to have leaders with a low-mental reasoning, and an anti-America, anti-israeli disposition.”
” I am calling on all citizens of Nigeria to rise against the decision of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in making Nigeria a partner or member in BRICS.
Tinubu under the national security advisory of Nuhu Ribadu, a human rights violator and most of his ministers with low-reasoning capacity quite equivalent to that of a brain of a goat, is not in position to know better”.
” Many Nigerians have been given better life and socio-economic opportunities by the United States. Russia and Iran have not. Iran will only build terrorist cells and religious fundamentalists. Why joining a conspiratorial war against a nation that has been helpful to your own citizens and institutions in many ways? ” .
” Nigeria should think of how to inculcate the real intelligentsia ( not blocked-head academic degrees and professional certificates and titles holders) into its policy planning so as to transform the country into production-based economy and knowledge-based system to strengthen Naira and enhance the country’s development, instead of dragging itself into complex international politics that would harm the citizenry in the long run”.
