Governor Uba Sani has emphasized to political officeholders that their primary focus should be on the citizens of Kaduna State, as they are public servants.
“The interests of the people are of utmost importance.”
The governor shared this message during the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed Commissioner of Education, Professor Abubakar Sani Sambo; Commissioner of Youth Development, Barrister Gloria Ibrahim; Head of Service, Mrs. Jummai Bako; and other senior government officials.
Governor Sani challenged them to help the administration leave a lasting legacy by thinking creatively while adhering to established frameworks.
He encouraged the new political appointees to “roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running,” highlighting that they have been chosen to serve the people of Kaduna State because of their skills and competencies that can contribute effectively to the state’s rebuilding and renewal.
He stressed that success can be achieved through teamwork and urged them to avoid working in isolation. “If we operate independently with limited communication or collaboration, our success will be hindered,” he warned.
According to the Governor, the administration has rapidly transformed both rural and urban communities through extensive infrastructure development and the revitalization of the health and educational sectors. Over the last two years, the government has actively fought poverty and strengthened partnerships with security forces to ensure the safety and security of the state.
