Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has congratulated Muslim across the State as they join their counterparts worldwide to mark this year’s Maulud Nabiyy with a message to the faithful to imbibe the teachings and virtues of Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
The governor made the call at an annual Maulud organized by the Fityanul Islam, held at Kofar Jatau in Zaria local government area of the state yesterday.
He urged the Muslim faithful to use the occasion of the Holy Prophet’s birthday to deepen love, patience, and perseverance.
According to him, Eid-el-Maulud is a momentous occasion for Muslims worldwide, as it provides an opportunity to reflect upon the life, teachings, and exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The governor noted that the call for Muslims to emulate the good characteristics of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him, had become necessary in view of the way and manner some youths conduct themselves in societies.
