The former chairman of Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ibrahim Daniel, has urged the leadership of the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB) to provide infrastructural facilities in the FCT schools to enhance learning.
He said this while speaking to newsmen in Gwagwalada, Abuja, recalling that since the UBEB was launched in 2004/2005 some state were still finding it difficult to assess the intervention fund.
He expressed dismay the manner at which the authorities of UBEB in the FCT and Nigeria at large were handling the education.
He said: By now after ten years or 15years the leadership of UBEB should have been thinking of quality education, instead of thinking on how to assess the intervention fund”.
Daniel, who was one of the Deputy Directors in the board, charged the FCT Administration to gear towards providing quality education in the territory.
