Unicef/SUBEB support 1,000 less previlledged pupils in Jigawa

No fewer than, 1000 less privileged primary school pupils got free uniforms and reading materials in Kiri-kasamma and Roni local governments area of Jigawa State.
The support was given to the beneficiaries by the United Nations Children Funds (Unicef), Department for International Development (DFID) in collaboration with Jigawa State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB).
Speaking at the flag-off of the exercise, the unicef coordinator in Jigawa State Universal Basic Education, Hajiya Umma Abdulqadir Fanini said, the distribution of the uniforms to 1000 less privileged primary students was part of the unicef ‘back to school campaign’ in the state.
