The lingering leadership struggle between Olorogun Moses Taiga and Chief Godwin Omene over who is authentic leader of Urhobo Progressive Union ( UPU) seems to be far from peaceful coexistence It was reliably gathered that the seemingly differences was informed by the recent inauguration of UPU Women Youth Wing by Chief Godwin Omene,a situation described as nullity by Olorogun Moses Taiga.
Erstwhile President General of UPU who is still clamoring to the authentic leader of UPU worldwide, inaugurated UPU Women Youth Wing where Lady Efedede Onajite and Lady Omemine Akpude emerged President and Vice President respectively.
In a widely publicised ceremony, the group was inaugurated in a colourful ceremony held in Mosogar, Ethiope West local government area of Delta State at the weekend.
“You should be focused and ready to contribute Your qota to the development of Urhobo land and as good ambassadors of Urhobo nation’,
Chief Omene urged them.
But reacting to the eremony, Olorogun Moses Taiga told journalists in the area that the formation of Urhobo Women Youth Wing was illegal and taken too far.
