Wamakko appoints two commissioners, Special Adviser

Governor Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, of Sokoto state, has approved the portfolios for the new Commissioners and a Special Adviser he had sworn-in earlier yesterday.

This was contained in a statement, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs, Alhaji Dahiru Abbas and issued to Journalists in Sokoto on Wednesday.

The statement said that Alhaji Isa Bajini was assigned to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, while Alhaji Abdullahi Garba is to take charge of the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development.

It also said that Dr. Kulu Haruna, the new Special Adviser is to take charge of the newly-created Department of Boarding Primary and Private Schools.
