President Muhammad Buhari has said that his administration has recorded success on national security, food security in the country.
He stated this yesterday at the 4 days events that marked this year Arugungu International Fishing Festival adding that his administration has commitments in restoring National Security and food production.
Buhari who witnessed the Agric shows which was part of the programme described Kebbi State Governor has a great achiever in terms of promoting agriculture and unity.
He explained further that his Government will also initiate a programme that will empowered farmers in order to have sufficient foods productions across the Nigeria.
“Am very glad to see the progress of these events, the festival which had been recorded good success will be supported to ensure unity among the different cultures, trip and religion” he added.
Buhari who expressed confidence that in the future Nigeria will consume what they produced which is the major target of his governing, and reduce poverty in the country.
He then thanks the Emir of Arugungu, Kebbi State Governor, organizer of this occasion and the entire people of Kebbi State for making the Rice production real by feeding the nation.
In his remarked, the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu applauded the President Muhammad Buhari for reducing poverty in the country and ensure sufficient food production across the nook and canner.
He assured the President that his administration will continue to support the rice farmers in the State and make sure that they enjoy the benefit of democracy.
