Member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency Hon. Philip Agbese has said APC national assembly members never demanded money from Governor Hyacinth Alia.
This is just as the rep member averred that they did not castigate the Governor as ‘performing poorly’.
Hon. Agbese spoke on behalf of National Assembly members at the 70th birthday reception of Secretary to Government of the Federation Sen. George Akume held at his country home in Wannune, Tarka local government area.
Agbese said,”the NASS caucus never said you are not doing well. We said you can do better. We believe that together we do can do better. We all know where we come from. You are are a priest and we believe that you can do better. We have never asked for any kobo from you.
“The SGF is our leader and this event has shown that he is truly loved by Nigerians”.
